New French Club from India lifted the Prachanda Thaiba Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament defeating Prachanda Thaiba XI by six wickets here on Tuesday.

With the win New French pursed Rs 50, 000 while Prachanda Thaiba XI had to remain satisfied with Rs 25, 000.

Winning the toss Prachanda Thaiba XI opted to bat first and was restricted to 84 runs losing eight wickets in 20 overs. Narudhin Khan and Jugesh Berma took two wickets each for New French. Khan’s not out 31 runs guided New French to the target in just 10 overs losing four wickets. Khan was awarded man-of-the-match and best batsman of the tournament. Krishna Thapa was awarded best bowler as he took eight wickets in the tournament. Gulzar Khan of the winning team received man-of-the-series award.
