An all-round performance by Subendu Pandey guided Fultekra Rockers Club to a nine-wicket win over Jwala Sports Club on Thursday in the Nagarik T20 Cricket Tournament underway in Nepalgunj.
Pandey, who was declared man of the match, hauled five wickets of Jwala and hit an unbeaten 78 runs in their comfortable victory.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Jwala were bundled out for 97 runs in 15.2 overs. In reply, Fultekra surpassed the target in 9.2 overs as they scored 100 runs. Sauvagya Bhusal scored 10 runs for Fultekra while Prajwal Shahi remained unbeaten on one run.
Earlier, Rakesh Rawal hit 27 runs for Jwala and Bibash Budhathoki scored 17 runs. Siddhartha Rana of Fultekra claimed three wickets.
