Gyanendra Malla (born 16 September 1990) is a Nepalese cricketer. He is a right-handed batter and the former captain of Nepal’s national cricket team. Previously, he was the vice-captain of the national cricket team under Paras Khadka. However, on October 19, 2019, he was awarded the Captaincy duty.

On December 15 2021, he was sacked from the captaincy duty.

Malla, who was turning 33 in 2023, announced his retirement from International cricket with immediate effect. Malla was in a poor run lately and was missing out on playing XI for the Men’s team.

He was one of the longest-serving players of Nepal Cricket, featuring in 37 ODIs, and 45 T20Is. With 7 fifties and a high score of 75, Malla managed 876 runs in ODIs while he hit one century and two fifties in 883 runs in T20Is.

On 11 January 2024, the APF club announced Gyanendra Malla as the coach of the club ahead of Prime Minister’s Cup tournament.
