Players get sponsorship

Kathmandu/Cricnepal: Indian sports equipment manufacturers – Talwar Sports and Ranger Sports sponsored three members of the Nepal Under 19 National Cricket Team  in a function organized by Red Cherry Sports Management Pvt Ltd on Monday.

Wicketkeeper batsman Subash Khakurel and batsman Rajesh Pulami Magar were sponsored by Talwar Sports while Ranger Sports sponsored bowler Ram Naresh Giri for two years.

Nepal U19 team that is preparing for the ICC Under19 World Cup Cricket was also felicitated in the function. Apoorva Srivastava, the first secretary of Indian Embassy to Nepal handed over the sports kits to the players. Talwar Director Dhiraj Talwar and Rangers Director Rajvir Singh and members of the Red Cherry were also present on the occasion.

Red Cherry Director Manish Sakhalkhar said ,’We will provide unlimited kits to the players if needed for the next two years and we are happy to support this young talents.” We were committed to help the young talents and this is a small initiation, he added.

Red Cherry is a newly established sports management company and is located in Lalitpur.
