Rahul V.K. and Malla guides Nepal to victory

Kathmandu – Nepal won their third practice match by 3 wickets against Star Cricket Academy XI at Jaipur today.

Nepal won the toss and elected to field first after a delayed start due to damp conditions on the field. The match was already reduced to 45 overs per side.

Star Cricket Academy were bowled out for 194 runs in 44 overs. Spinner Rahul Vishwakarma grabbed five-for for Nepal. Abhijeet Tomar once again top scored with 58 runs.

Meanwhile, Nepal chased the target in 39 overs. Gyanendra Malla top scored with 80 runs while, Sharad Veswarkar(not out) and Binod Bhandari scored 32 runs each. Skipper Paras Khadka managed 7 runs while Pradeep Airee added 10 runs. Anil Mandal was duck out.

This was the second win against Star Academy and third win of the tour.
