Raju Rijal grabs the highest price in DCL-3 auction

Dhangadhi- Raju Rijal grabbed the highest price in the auction of third edition of Dhangadhi Cricket League. “Team Santoshi Tole” picked up Rijal for Rs 40,000, which is the highest paid price in the auction. Binod Bhandari got picked up by “Team Attaria” for Rs 36,000 while Lalit Singh Bhandari was snapped up for the same amount by “Team Campusroad,” which is the second highest auctioned amount.Santoshi tole

 

This is the first time in the history of Nepal Cricket such auction has been done to pick up players for a domestic league. Overall, 75 players were auctioned including the likes of Mehaboob Alam, Binod Bhandari and Raju Rijal. Surprisingly, Alam was paid just Rs 18,000 by Team Attaria.

Among other surprises, Yam karki, local player from Dhangadhi was snapped up by “Team Chauraha” for Rs 32,000. The same team grabbed Bhuwan Karki for Rs. 28,000. Meanwhile, “Team Hasanpur” prioritized on picking local players in their team.

Dhangahdi Cricket Academy (DCA) has been organizing Dhangadhi Cricket League (DCL) for the past three seasons. DCL-3 will start from February 13 (Falgun 1, 2072) in Dhangadh
