Kanchanpur – Vishal Warriors defeated Colors XFactors by 5 wickets to open their account in Nepal Premier League’s second-day match at Kanchanpur today.
The warriors, winning the toss, invited XFactors to bat first. XFactors posted a modest total of 181 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 50 overs. Captain Gyanendra Malla brought his fifty to rescue his team. He managed 71 runs from 128 balls, along with Amar Singh Routela and Kumar Thapa scoring a brisk 16*(11) and 16*(13) at the end respectively.
In Reply, the Warriors chased the target in 48.1 overs losing 5 wickets. Dipesh Khatri played an unbeaten knock of 50*(65) to chase the target comfortably. He was well supported by Prakash KC 33(67) and Suraj Prasad Kurmi 26(71).
Earlier, the player of the match – Ramnaresh Giri (10-1-42-4) and Yagyaman Kumal (10-0-27-2) took six wickets to restrict the first innings total.
