Rastriya Banijya Bank announces cash prize for Nepal’s ACC Premier Cup winning team

Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has made an official announcement to present a cash prize of one lakh rupees to each member of Nepal’s ACC Premier Cup-winning team. As per the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Kiran Shrestha, the Chief Executive Officer of Banijya Bank, also gifted a token of love to CAN’s Acting Secretary, Durga Raj Pathak, on Wednesday.

The bank announced its plan to provide a cash prize of one lakh rupees to each of the 18 players (including four reserves) who were in the ACC Premier Cup campaign. Furthermore, the head coach, Monty Desai, and other officials involved will also be rewarded with a sum of fifty thousand rupees each.

In the final match of the ACC Premier Cup, Nepal emerged victorious over UAE, securing their place in the upcoming Asia Cup. Despite a rain delay, Nepal managed to win the match by seven wickets on the reserve day. As a result, Nepal will now compete against India and Pakistan in the same group during the Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in September.

Earlier, Prime Minister Prachanda made an announcement stating that each player will receive a cash prize of six lakhs, while each official will be granted a reward of three lakhs.
