Rohit Paudel achieved a major milestone in his 44th T20I match as he became only the 3rd Nepali batter to go past 1,000 runs in Twenty20 International cricket.
Paudel achieved the landmark against Malaysia during Asia Cup Qualifiers (ACC Men’s Premier Cup) 2024 in Oman on Friday, April 12.
Nepali skipper needed 5 runs to complete 1,000 runs in the match against Malaysia.
Dipendra Singh Airee is the first Nepali batter to reach the landmark whilst Kushal Bhurtel recently reached 1,000 runs in T20 Internationals.
