Rohit Paudel elects to bowl first against USA

Nepal won the toss against the USA in the second match of Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023. Skipper Rohit Paudel then decided to bowl first at Takashinga Sports Club, Harare. 

Nepal faced an eight-wicket defeat against Zimbabwe in the first match of the tournament. Monty Desai’s boys will look to grab the first win of the tournament against the USA.

USA’s skipper Monank Patel will miss the contest due to illness; hence Vice-captain Aaron Jones will lead the side. Nisarg Patel comes in.

For Nepal, Star pace bowler Sompal Kami will be absent after he sustained an injury in the previous game against Zimbabwe. Lalit Rajbanshi replaces him in the XI.
