S.G Challengers and Ebisu Real Hitters win

KATHMANDU, January 1:
S.G Challengers and Ebisu Real Hitters entered into the quarter finals of the ongoing Shree Ridhi Sidhi Marwadi Champions League here at Modern Indian School Cricket Ground, Chovar today.

In the first match played, S.G Challengers defeated Dare Devils by 61 runs. Dare Devils though lost the game have progressed to the quarter finals as runner up.
Batting first, S.G Challengers scored a good total of 143 runs for 7 wickets in alloted 20 overs. Anil Vibhute played a brilliant innings with 53 runs off 37 deliveries that included 3 fours and 5 sixes. Man of the match Arshad Iman joined Anil Vibhute with making 45 runs off 30 balls including 3 fours and 3 sixes. Rakesh Bajesaria added 17 while Dipendra Agrawal went out at 8. For Dare Devils, Sailesh Agrawal claimed 3 wickets while Amar Thakuri grabbed 2 wickets.

In reply, Dare Devils were bowled out for 82 runs in 13.3 overs. Amit Kedia remained top scorer for Dare Devils with 16 runs off 19 balls. Similarly, Ravi Agrawal, Purnendu Ghosh and Aashish Agrawal contributed 14, 10 and 9 runs each for the devils. In restricting Devils to 82 runs, Anubhav Ranasaria, Vikash Lunia, Arshad Iman and Agrawal grabbed 2 wickets each from Challengers.

In the second match, Ebisu Real Hitters defeated Belmonte Fighters in one over per side eliminator after the match went for the tie.

Ebisu Real Hitters made 98 runs losing all wickets in 17.3 overs with Deepak Bansal scoring 27 runs off 23 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Hari Agrawal made 13 runs. Saroj Khatiwada and Ikesh Pandey added 9 and 8 runs respectively. Anil Maharjan grabbed 4 wickets while Pramod Singh and Niraj Agrawal shared 2 wickets each for Fighters.

In reply, Belmonte Fighters scored 98 runs with losing all wickets in 20 overs. Pankaj Kochar top scored 19 runs. Anil Maharjan added 17, Vivek Maskara added 15 while Pramod Singh made 14 runs. For Ebisu Real Hitters Saroj Maharjan grabbed 3 wickets while Hari Agrawal, Hemant Murarka and Gopal Agrawal claimed a wicket each.
Saroj Khatiwada from Ebisu Real Hitters was adjudged as the man of the match.

Quarter final matches will be played from tomorrow with Tip Top 11 taking on Ebisu Real Hitters and Belmonte Fighters playing against Naxal Challengers.
