SANN International College and Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) will meet in final of “Inter-technical College T20 Tournament 2068” organized by “ANNFSU-Pulchowk Campus”.
SAAN International Defeated Pulchowk” Blue” by 24 runs in the first Semi-Final played in Pulchowk International Ground. Pulchowk “Blue” won the toss and elected to field first. SANN International scored 162 runs with the loss of only 4 wickets in 20 over. Rabin Joshi Pahari Scored 76 runs of 54 balls who was supported by Aashish Bhandari who also scored 53 runs of 32 balls. Gambhir S.Bist took 2 wickets sparing 15 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, Pulchowk “Blue” could only managed 139 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Sumant Shah was a top scorer with 58 runs in 49 balls where as Pratik Pathak also scored 18 runs of 31 balls. Pratik Poudel thrashed 3 wickets in 4 overs.
Rabin Joshi Pahari was awarded the Man of the Match for his magnificent batting which was the best scorer in the tournament so far.
NCIT thrashed COSMOS “A” by 44 runs in second Semi-Final of the Tournament. NCIT won the toss and elected to bat first. NCIT managed to set a target of 151 runs by loosing 6 wickets in 20 overs with the help of Madhav Yadhav who scored 75 runs of 56 balls and Nirajan Basnet who scored 20 runs of 17 balls. Pramzol Thapa took 3 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, COSMOS “A” lost all their wickets for 106 runs in 19.1 overs. Himansh Sah’s 51 runs of 39 balls and Cyras Shrestha’s 12 runs of 13 balls were the best figure for COSMOS “A”. Nirajan Thagunna took 4 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs.
Madhav Yadhav was awarded Man of the Match for his 75 runs of 56 balls.
Sixteen teams participated in the tournament which was played in knock-out basis.
SAAN and NCIT will play for the title on Tuesday from 10:30am on Pulchowk Intenational Ground.
