Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Shrijansil Youth Club was victorious in the seventh match of the ongoing Dhangadi Cricket League. Shrijansil on Saturday defeated Aishwarya Cricket Club by 8 wickets.
With Jatin Joshi top scoring with 16 runs and Janak Singh adding 12, Aishwarya put up a low total of 86 runs in 34 overs. Dipendra Saud claimed four wickets while Bhuwan KC and Janak Kunwar grabbed two each for Shrijansil.
In reply, Shrijansil chased the target in 16.2 overs losing only two wickets. Santosh Karki scored 35 runs for Shrijansil while Bhuwan Malla remained unbeaten at 33.
Dipendra Saud was adjudged the player of the match.
Dhangadi Cricket League aims at searching new talents and polish them. The league is being organized by Dhangadi Cricket Academy.
In the next match, Tikapur Cricket Club will face the eagles team of the host side.
