SNB Memorial Cricket from Sunday

KATHMANDU:
The Sixth SNB Memorial Inter-school Cricket Tournament 2068 will kick off on Sunday at the Pulchowk engineering ground. Altogether 15 schools are participating in the 11-day event, the organizer Adarsh Vidhya Mandir (AVM) announced during a press conference on Saturday.

The tournament is being held after a gap of two years. Defending champion Budhanilkantha has not registered its name.

The tournament is being held since 2004, except in 2009 and 2010, in the memory of Satya Narayan Bahadur Shrestha, the founder of AVM. All the matches upto the quarterfinals will be held at Pulchowk. The semifinals and the final, on June 15, will be held at TU cricket ground, Kirtipur. The matches will be of Twenty 20 format and will be played in knockout style.
