SPA bids farewell to Bhuwan Karki

Sudur Paschimanchal Academy(SPA) on Saturday bode farewell to Bhuwan Karki, the member of the U-19 squad that is to represent Nepal in ACC U-19 Asia Cup to be held in Malaysia and ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in Australia later this year amidst a function in his hometown Kailali, Dhangadhi.

Director(SPA) and president of Sports Journalist Forum, Kailali Subash Shahi shared best wishes to Karki. Shahi also informed Karki will leave for Kathmandu on Sunday. Karki had played good role in making Nepal qualify for the world cup. Karki had scored 71 runs in 8 matches while taken 13 wickets.

Meanwhile, different organizations and individuals shared their helping hands with Karki. Karki, who is the ambassador of the Inter-college cricket tournament – the greatest prize money tournament in Nepal, will use the cricket equipments with it’s name. SPA will bear all the expenses so caused for the cricket related equipments that Karki uses in national and international tournaments.

Two other organizations also fecilitated Karki with Rs. 5000 each.

Meanwhile, the U-19 closed camp in Kathmandu has been affected by regular strikes.
