Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Sudur Paschimanchal Academy(SPA) secured their semi final berth of the Dhangadi Cricket League with an easy nine wicket victory over Dhangadi Sports Club in Boradandi Phaphla Cricket Ground, Dhangadi on Monday.
Winning the toss, Dhangadi Sports Club put up a total of 64 runs in 18.5 overs losing all wickets. Bijay Rana made the top 16 runs while none other were able to make a double digit score. Man of the match Arjun Chapagain claimed three wickets while Bikram Thagunna, Bhuwan Karki and Binod Lama grabbed two wickets each for SPA.
In reply, SPA chased the target with ease in 14.4 overs losing only a wicket. Nishant Thapa remained unbeaten at 43 while Pankaj Kunwar was not out at 10.
Dhangadi Cricket Academy (Eagles) and Shrijansil Youth Club will face each other in next match on 29th January.
