Sri Lankan fast bowlers to arrive in Nepal

Cricnepal/Kathmandu – Four fast bowlers from Sri Lanka will be arriving Nepal in September to help Nepalese team for the preparation of ICC Twenty20 Qualifiers.

Sri Lanka’s U-23 Left-arm medium-fast bowler – Charith Jayampathi is one of the bowler to come to Nepal. He played in the recent ACC Emerging Teams Cup held in Singapore.

“Two Right-arm and two Left-arm bowlers will come to Nepal”, Pubudu Dassanayake, Coach of Nepali Cricket team told.

“Four SL bowlers will stay with Nepalese team for one month. They will arrive here on end of September and stay till the end of October.  They can deliver up to 130 Km/hr to 135 Km/hr speed which can help our batsmen to face.  After the training with SL bowlers, the team is preparing to go either Sri Lanka or Bangladesh “, he said.

These bowlers  are all associated with SL Cricket Board.

Nepal will start the training session from 7th September in Kathmandu for the preparation of upcoming World Cup Qualifiers in November.
