Subash Pradhan and Krishna Karki place Bhairahawa in Semis

Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Half century from wicket keeper Subash Pradhan and 3 vital wickets from Krishna Karki helped Region number 4 Bhairahawa win their last group match against Region No.1 Biratnagar by massive margin of 84 runs.

Win the win Bhairahawa join APF in the semi final of the pepsi Standard Chartered National T-20 Cricket Tournamnet being held in Kathmandu.

Batting first Bhairahawa posted 122 runs in 20 overs as Subash made 54 form 46 balls. Sagar Pun and Nischal Chaudhary made 27 and 15 respectively. Raj Kumar Pradhan ran through the Bhairahawa side as none other batsmen made the two digit mark.

In reply Biratnager were restricted for 40 runs in 14.2 overs losing 9 wickets. Kalicharan Yadav did not bat for Biratnagar. Biratnagar
batting looked quite rusty against the Bhairahawa bowlers as only two batsmen touched the two digit mark. Manoj Mandal top scored with 12 while Sunny Pun made 10. Krishna Karki bagged three wickets while Lal Bahadur Adikari grabbed two.

Subash was adjudged player of the match for his match winning half century.

In the other match played today APF defeated Region No.3 Kathmandu by 61 runs. Batting first, riding on match winning 93 n.o. fromplayer of the match Subash Khakurel and 69 n.o. from Gyanendra Malla APF posted mammoth score of 176 losing two wickets. In reply Kathmandu could only manage 115. Rajesh Pulami top scored for Kathmandu with 53 runs
