Sushil’s magical spell sinks Saudi Arabia U19

Kathmandu- Slow left armer, Sushil Kandel produced another magical spell in the ACC U19 Premier League 2015 that handed Nepal U19 a comfortable nine wickets win over Saudi Arabia U19 at Kelab Aman, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.

Sushi bowled nine consecutive maidens in his ten overs picking up four important wickets conceding just 12 runs (which came only in his last over) as Nepal U19 restricted Saudi Arabia U19 for just 55 runs in 33.2 overs.

Opening batsman Faisal Khan 19 runs off 14 balls and Zain 11 runs off 4 balls were the only two batsman who reached double figured for Saudi Arabia U19. Off Spinners Sunil Dhamala 2 wickets and Prem Tamang 3 wickets did other damage.

Nepal U19 chased the target with ease in just 9 overs losing only a wicket. Sunil Dhamala anchored Nepal U19’s chase with a fluent 34 not out off 20 balls that included 3 fours and 2 sixes. Skipper Raju Rijal remained not out on 14 runs.
