The Nepalese national cricket team is currently in the United States for a training camp ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup. The team is there as part of a preparation initiative supported by the Nepal government, which has allocated NRs Five Crore for this purpose.
Nepal qualified for the T20 World Cup after a decade, having previously participated in the event in 2014. They finished second in the Asia Qualifier, earning the qualification for the upcoming event in the USA and the West Indies.

May 08 – Currently, Team Nepal is in Florida, USA. They will be in a training camp until May 11 at Florida Acclimatization Camp.
May 12 – They will depart for St. Vincent, which is Nepal’s World Cup match venue.
May 13 – Training at St. Vincent
May 14 – Match 1 against the mixed team of St. Vincent and Windward Islands
May 15 – Rest Day
May 16 – Match 2 against the mixed team of St. Vincent and Windward Islands
May 17 – Rest Day/Optional Training
May 18 – Match 3 against the mixed team of St. Vincent and Windward Islands
May 19/20 – Travel to Houston, USA
May 21 – Houston centre wicket practice at PV ground
May 22 and 23 – Practise match against Houston Hurricane
May 24 – Houston centre wicket practice at PV ground
May 25 – Beginning of World Cup’s official warm-up matches
The mega event starts on June 2 with the final match scheduled for June 29. Nepal’s first match is on June 4 against the Netherlands. Nepal is in Group D alongside the Netherlands and three test-playing nations – South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
