Dhangadi – Sudur Pachimanchal Academy is organizing the third edition of “S.P.A. Cup National Inter College Cricket Tournament” from November 23, 2012 in Dhangadi, Kailali. This edition will be the highest cash prize cricket tournament in Nepal with winner receiving Rs. 200,000 and runner up bagging Rs. 100,000.
Organizing a press meet on Saturday, the organisers informed about not being able to organize the event earlier citing some reasons. One of the resaon was the Sixth National Games that is scheduled to be held in the same region a week later.
Hotel Devotee will serve as the prime sponsor of the tournament with the tournament to be named as “THE HOTEL DEVOTEE S.P.A. CUP 2012” while Om Palace, Chaudhary Book Depot and Bells Cafe are the co-sponsors of the tournament.
Man of the match will receive Rs. 5,000 and Man of the series will be awarded with cash prize of Rs. 50,000.
The matches will be played in various grounds from Far Western Development Region.
