Cricnepal/Kathmandu: Tikapur Cricket Club defeated Dhangadi Cricket Academy(Eagles) by a huge margin of 154 runs in the eigth match of the ongoing Dhangadi Cricket League.
Winning the toss, Tikapur chose to bat first and scored a good total of 190 runs in 40 overs. Rajan Sherchan top scored with 46 runs while Devendra Tamata 43 and Dipak Subedi 25 were some other major contributors. Anmol Swar grabbed four wickets while Prakas Rawal took two wickets for DCA.
in reply, Dhangadi were restricted to a meagre total of 36 runs in 17 overs. Ganesh Bohara and Sabin Shahi scored 6 runs each for the losing side while for Tikapur Keshar Kunwar took three wickets and Tamata had two.
Dhangadi Sports Club will face Sudur Paschimanchal Academy Club in next match.
