Towson Cricket Team(TCT) defeated Lochraven Cricket Team (LCT) by 5 wickets in the NSSA T20 Cricket League 2011 being played at Providence Rd, Baltimore.
LCT won the toss and chose to bat first. Lochraven only scored 66 runs in their allocated 20 overs loosing 9 wickets. Skipper Sachit scored 15 runs and Man of the match Binod took 3 wickets for TCT. Meanwhile, TCT chased the target in 12.3 overs with loosing 5 wickets. Opener Asim (30 runs) played a match winning knock to secured a comfortable win over LCT.
In the opening match, Friends Cricket Club (FCC) lost against Lochraven Cricket Club (LCC) by 9 wickets.The third match of the tournament will be played between FCC and UCC on Tuesday.
NSSA T20 Cricket Tournament is organised as a fund raising program by Nepalese Student Society in America (NSSA).
