The departmental side Tribhuwan Army and Madhesh Province are all set to battle for the title of the KP Oli T20 tournament.
Army outplayed Bagmati Province in the first semifinal whereas Madhesh defeated Armed Police Force (APF) Club in the second semifinal to ensure a meeting in the final.
The Army triumphed in both group-stage matches, while Madhesh suffered a defeat against Nepal Police Club. However, Madhesh’s mammoth victory over Sudurpaschim, coupled with the Police’s unexpected loss to Sudurpaschim, propelled Madhesh forward in the tournament.
The KP Oli T20 Cricket Tournament is being organized by the Madan Bhandari Sports Academy in Pokhara. The tournament featured seven provinces, three departmental teams, and two teams of organizers, Madan Bhandari Sports Academy, competing for a winning prize of NPR Five Lakhs and a runner-up prize of NPR Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand.
