Nepal registered a terrific win against UAE on Thursday in front of a jumbo crowd at TU Cricket Ground in the closing match of CWC League 2. The home side were victorious by nine runs (D/L Method) which took them to a third position in the table, surpassing Namibia.
The win ensured the direct spot for Nepal in the World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe. Scotland being the champions, and Namibia finishing second, had already sealed the spot in the tournament.
