JANAKPUR, December 20:
Universal Academy, Vidyapati Cricket Club, Katrait Cricket Club, Jay Ma Bhagwati Cricket Club, JCF Cricket Team, Ma Laxmi Youth Club and Scientific Academy registered win in the fourth day of the Janakpur Super Six Cricket Tournament.
In the first match between Universal Academy and Dudhmati Cricket Academy, Universal defeated Dudhmati by 5 wickets. Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Dudhmati made a total of 57 runs in allocated 5 overs. In reply, Universal surpassed the target in 3.1 overs. Sanjay was adjudged the man of the match.
In the second match, Vidyapati Cricket Club defeated Shree Bajarang Cricket Club by 9 runs. Vidyapati made up a good total of 70 runs playing 5 overs. Chasing the target, Bajarang ended up with 61 runs on board in 5 overs.
In the other matches of the day, Katrait Cricket Club defeated Shree Bhairab Cricket Team by 3 wickets, Jay Ma Bhagwati Cricket Club defeated R.R. Campus by 2 wickets, JCF Cricket Team outplayed Mills Area Cricket Team by 9 runs, Ma Laxmi Youth Club defeated Ma Sanchiriya by 3 runs.
In the last match of the day, Scientific Academy defeated Lelin Cricket Club by 25 runs.
A total of 7 matches will be played on Wednesday including two quarter final matches.
