USA Cricket Association(USACA) has named 28 probables for ICC World T20 Qualifiers. Sushil Nadkarni who captained USA and was the leading run scorer for USA in last edition’s ICC World T20 Qualifier in not in the squad. Also missing from the squad is Timroy Allen who had retired right after division 3. He had scored quick fire 67* against Nepal to add salt to injury caused by Steven Taylors 162.
ESPNcricinfo has reported that Nadkarni is missng from the Squad because he could not get time time of his work.
USA competing in Group A. The USA will be playing against Ireland, Hong Kong, Italy, Namibia, Uganda, Canada and UAE. Matches are to be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.The USA’s first match on November 15th is against Canada.
“In preparation for this all important international tournament, Team USA will attend a special training camp from October 18th-21st
in Fort Lauderdale where they will address technical and tactical matters, as well as playing three T20 practice matches against Bermuda ” reads USACA press release regarding team’s preparation.
