Kohli’s IPL century after four years proved to be the turning point as RCB successfully chased down the target of 187 with four balls to spare. The RCB skipper showcased his masterful batting skills, smashing 12 fours and four sixes on his way to a remarkable sixth IPL century, achieved in just 62 balls. However, he was dismissed off the very next ball, but his contribution had already propelled his team into a comfortable position.

Supporting Kohli’s heroic performance was captain Faf du Plessis, who played a crucial role in the chase. Du Plessis scored a well-crafted 72 off 47 balls, including seven fours and two sixes, further solidifying RCB’s dominance throughout the match. The duo shared 172 runs for the opening wicket.

Earlier in the game, SRH posted a decent total of 186/5 on the back of a scintillating century from Heinrich Klaasen. The South African wicketkeeper-batsman displayed an impressive display of power hitting, smashing 104 runs from just 51 deliveries. His innings included eight fours and six sixes, providing a strong platform for SRH.
