KATHMANDU: Greenland Children Academy will make Wai Wai Women´s Regional Cricket selections from November 9-13 at Sainik Ground Bhaktapur. Altogether six teams will participate in the tournament. The tournament will be played in T20 format having league-cum-knockout rounds. Cricket Association of Nepal will provide technical support for the tournament while Chaudhary group is the main sponsor.
The players for Region No 3 will be selected from this tournament. The organizers informed that they were not able to conduct the tournament for the past two years due to technical problems. Baluwatar Cricket Academy is the defending champion while the host finished second in the last edition of the tournament.
