The tournament is well supported by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

“This tournament will be fruitful to our team before leaving to New Zealand. However this would help the team to change its mode from Twenty20 to One dayers which is very important. And playing at the home ground would lift the momentum of the team”, said Pubudu Dassanayeke, the head coach of Nepalese team.

The tournament will be broadcasted live in Kantipur Television. Similarly, there will be live performance by Robin n the New Revolution alongwith Food stalls as well.

“Sagarmatha Cement Journey to World Cup is going to be an exciting tournament in Nepal that would help the team to prepare for our next mission to play the World cup qualifiers in Newzealand. Also its an ideal opportunity to interact with Nepali Cricket fans being played in the home soil after SIX months. Lets support this event by supporting Nepal team. Come one, Come All.”, said Aamir Akhar, the organiser of the event.
