Khadka continuous collecting funds in Australia

Kathmandu – Nepal National Cricket team skipper Paras Khadka has raised NRs. 3 million for the Nepal Earthquake victims in Australia.

Khadka, who is still in Australia had raised the funds via different fund-raising auction programmes. He has raised a total of AUD 35000 in Darwin, Sydney and Melbourne. The money was raised from the auction where the national team jerseys and bats were kept. He was able to raise AUD 14,000 in Darwin itself.

Earlier, Khadka collected a record breaking AUD 1300 by selling his signed national jersey. “All this money will go to the needy on behalf of the Nepal Cricket Team and all of us will personally make sure money goes to the affected”, Skipper said.

Khadka had reached Australia two days before the massive 7.9 m earthquake that rocked back the nation. Cricket Association of Nepal has also appealed the fans to donate.
