Dipendra Singh Airee among the runs in Tigers’ collapse 

Dipendra Singh Airee has continued his good batting run in Global T20 League Canada. Despite his team – Montreal Tigers’ defeat, Airee showed a fighting knock.

The Tigers were wrapped up for just 99 runs against Vancouver Knights. Airee was the second-highest scorer, only behind opener Muhammad Waseem who scored 28 runs. Meanwhile, Dipendra scored 24 runs from 27 balls with the help of three boundaries. 

Airee came in the crease in a tricky situation of 28/4 in the sixth over and played an anchoring knock. However, the continuous fall in wickets saw the Tigers collapse for 99 in 18.3 overs. Knights chased a target in 14.5 overs, losing just one wicket. 

Airee has scored 102 runs from four innings so far. He scored 28 runs in the first match and added 22* in the second match along with picking up one wicket. In the third match, He notched up 28 runs.

Montreal Tigers are at the top in points table with nine points from seven matches.
