Sandeep Lamichhane went wicketless in the Surrey Jaguars’ fifth match in the ongoing Global T20 League Canada. Lamichhane finished with a figure of 3-0-25-0 against Brampton Wolves.
Lamichhane was introduced in the 10th over of the match, where he shared only five runs. Colin de Grandhomme smacked a couple of boundaries in the next over as Leggie conceded 11 runs from his second over.
Coming back to bowl in the 16th over, He conceded nine runs, with Rizwan Cheema smacking one six. Wolves managed 128/9 after the end of 20 overs. Ayaan Khan, Ammar Khalid and Matthew Forde picked up two wickets each for Surrey.
Lamichhane has seven wickets in his pocket in the ongoing tournament. He picked up two wickets in the first and third matches, whilst the second match was washed out due to rain, where he was able to bowl only a couple of delivaries. In the fourth match, Lamichhane grabbed three wickets and picked up his best figure in GT20.
In all three completed matches, he was awarded ‘Moment of the Match’.
