APF women book a spot in the final of Lalitpur Mayor Women’s championship

Armed Police Force (APF) women’s team has booked a seat in the final of the Lalitpur Mayor Women’s Championship after a win in three consecutive matches. APF defeated Koshi Province women by seven wickets in the second match of Saturday at TU Cricket Ground.

Choosing to bat first, Koshi could only post 87 for five against the rigid APF bowing. Opener Kajal Shrestha and Rubina Chhetri score 29 and 24 runs respectively. Apsari Begam also added sluggish 22 runs. Sita Rana Magar was the pick of a bowler for APF, picking up three wickets (4-0-11-3).

APF chased the total in 18.1 overs, losing three wickets. Mamta Chaudhary scored an unbeaten 21, while Sita Rana Magar and Indu Berms scored 19 and 18 runs respectively. 

Sita Rana Magar was adjudged as player of the match for the third consecutive match. APF has booked their seat in the final with one match spare.
