DCA U16 lead in the first day after Lokesh Bam’s century

Kathamandu- Kathmandu- Dhangadhi Cricket Academy (DCA U16) team, finished day one of the two days matches against Sind Sports Club on a high note, taking a lead of 185 runs, in match played at Mumbai.

Riding on Lokesh Bam’s scintillating century, DCA posted 226  runs on the board after winning the toss and batting first. Lokesh’s 109 not out runs included 10  fours and 3 sixes. Reet Gautam who scored 48* in the last match contributed 36 runs, Tekendra Bohara scored 21 runs and Sarthak Kant scored 17 runs for DCA.

In reply, at the end of the day, Sind Sports Club lost 2 wickets for 41 runs. Skipper Aman Panthi and Pratish KC took one wicket each for DCA.

Dhangahdi Cricket Academy (DCA) are currently touring India. The team will play matches in Mumbai and Goa. This tour aims at giving their players much needed international exposure, in the way helping them shape up their talent. The tour is organised by Dhangadhi Cricket Academy, Dhangadhi, Kailali.
