Under the terms of the MoU, NAV and CAN pledged to collaborate on several initiatives aimed at advancing the cause of cricket in Nepal. Key components of the agreement include the regular felicitation of national cricket players and officials during the prestigious NAV Cricket Cup, fundraising initiatives for CAN, and providing exposure to Nepalese cricketers within the Australian cricketing landscape. The latter becomes particularly crucial as Nepal has qualified for the World Cup 2024, and this collaboration seeks to leverage Australian cricket expertise for the development of Nepalese talent.

In a gracious gesture, CAN extended its congratulations to Her Excellency Felicity Volk and the entire nation of Australia for their recent triumph in the men’s One Day International (ODI) Cricket World Cup. The goodwill expressed by CAN underscores the collaborative spirit of the MoU and sets a positive tone for future cricketing endeavours between Nepal and Australia.
