Sandeep Lamichhane’s potential Pakistan travel on August 27th following a court hearing

The case against Sandeep Lamichhane is scheduled for a hearing on August 27th, with plans underway for him to travel to Pakistan on the very same day.

Nepalese national cricket team’s star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane could fly for Pakistan this coming Sunday (27th August). Nepal’s squad, without Sandeep Lamichhane, has already landed in Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.

Lamichhane missed a trip with his teammates due to a court hearing. As per Ratopati, the case’s hearing will be on Sunday (27th August). According to the sources of Kathmandu District Court, the hearing has been fixed for Sunday. 

If the case remains unresolved or unsettled by Sunday, there’s a possibility that Lamichhane will travel to Pakistan on the same day. According to Sandeep’s legal advisor, He could fly on Sunday night in case of his clearance or a delay in hearing. Moreover, conversations are taking place with both the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and the court regarding this issue.

The Nepalese team has already landed in Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. They will be involved in a four-day practice in Karachi. After a practice in Karachi, Team Nepal will travel to Multan on August 27. They will play against Pakistan on August 30 in the first match of the Asia Cup 2023. Then, both sides will fly to Sri Lanka, where they will play a match against India.

Nepal will face India in Kandy on September 4. Meanwhile, The much anticipated India vs Pakistan is set to be played on September 2. Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are set to compete in the 13-match tournament.
