Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN)’s General Manager Britant Khanal has resigned from his position. He resigned a couple of days ago, and as per the source, his resignation has been approved by CAN.
During a meeting held in Kathmandu on Saturday, CAN approved Khanal’s decision. His work will be overseen by Acting Secretary Durgaraj Pathak and CAN’s Cricket Manager Binod Das.
Khanal was appointed in March 2022 after the one-year tenure of Raunak Malla. The specific reason behind Khanal’s resignation remains unclear.
According to available information, CAN will proceed with the appointment of a new General Manager only after the formation of a new committee.
