Melbourne/Cricnepal – The Netherlands Cricket Board (KNCB) has collected the sum of €6,024 from their #SixesforNepal campaign to support Earthquake victims in Nepal.
“Sixes for Nepal” was an initiative set forth by the The Netherlands Cricket Board (KNCB) and the Dutch cricket community to contribute to the relief efforts after the earthquake in Nepal. The Cricket board honored every SIX in the matches in the Topklasse, Hooftklasse, domestic T20 and international competitions with 6 euros for relief efforts.
Altogether 1,004 Sixes were hit in the duration from May to September that includes four T20 matches against Nepal as well. “Thank you and wonderful spirit to support Nepal”, Bhawana Ghimire, CEO of CAN tweeted.
