UAE sets a target of 237 against Oman

UAE has set a target of 237 runs against Oman in the second semifinal of the ACC Premier Cup. UAE were wrapped up for 236 runs in 49.2 overs after being forced to bat first at Mulpani Cricket Ground.

Meanwhile, Nepal vs Kuwait match is delayed at TU Cricket Ground. Nepal were batting at 141/3 after 23.2 overs.

UAE had a brilliant start adding 61/0 after the powerplay, thanks to a quick start from Muhammad Waseem. He scored 31-ball 48 with four sixes and fours each. Other batters could do any special for UAE, as they managed only an average total.

Rameez Shahzad scored 46, whereas Basil Hameed and Asif Khan added 34 runs each.

Zeeshan Maqsood and Bilal Khan picked up four wickets each for Oman. Ayaan Khan also dismissed two batters.

This is the first ODI match at Mulpani Cricket Ground. The venue became the 216th Ground to host the ODI match.
